PingAnywhere is built to collect as little as possible: one email address, and no tracking. This page explains exactly what we hold and why.
Last updated: October 20, 2026
01
What we collect
We collect one thing: the email address you type into our waitlist form. If you contact us through the contact form, we also store your message and the email address you provide with it.
Our servers also record standard request metadata (IP address, timestamp, and user agent) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are short-lived and not linked to your waitlist entry.
We do not collect payment details (the product is not for sale yet), and we do not sell, rent, or share personal data with advertisers. We have no third-party tracking scripts, no session recording, and no cross-site ad pixels.
02
Why we collect it
Your email address is used for one purpose: to email you when PingAnywhere is ready and your early access invite is available. We also use it to send a launch note and, if you opt in, occasional product updates. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
Contact-form messages are used only to answer you.
03
Where your data is stored
Waitlist and contact entries are stored in a Neon (Postgres) database, and the site is served through a content delivery network with a serverless runtime. Data may therefore be processed outside your own country, because Neon and our hosting providers operate globally for resilience.
We rely on these processors under data processing terms, and we keep the amount of data we hold to the minimum needed to run the waitlist.
04
Cookies and local storage
The site sets no tracking cookies. One preference is stored in your browser’s local storage: your light or dark theme choice. It never leaves your device, contains no identifier, and clearing site data removes it.
05
How long we keep it
Waitlist entries are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and we delete them within 30 days of a deletion request. Contact messages are deleted after 12 months unless the conversation is still relevant.
06
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You can also object to how we use it. If you are in the EU or UK, you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@pinganywhere.com. We respond to every request within 30 days.
07
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS, and database access is restricted to the credentials used by the server. We keep the attack surface small on purpose: one email field, one API, and no third-party scripts.
No system is perfect. If you find a vulnerability, report it to security@pinganywhere.com and we will fix it and credit you in the release notes unless you prefer otherwise.
08
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will also be mentioned in the product email we send at launch.
