Terms of Service

The rules for using PingAnywhere. Written to be read, not to be survived.

Last updated: October 20, 2026

01

The product is in beta

PingAnywhere is currently in closed beta. The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, and features, pricing, and behaviour may change before general availability. We will not remove functionality you already rely on without telling you first.

02

Early access and pricing

Joining the waitlist is free and does not create a contract. When we launch, waitlist members are offered our $19/month flat plan at that price for as long as their subscription remains active. If we ever change the price, we will give you notice before your next renewal and let you cancel instead.

Beta access itself is free and carries no commitment to purchase anything at launch.

03

Acceptable use

You may use PingAnywhere to monitor systems you own or are authorised to test. You may not use it to attack third-party systems, to probe networks you do not own, or to generate traffic that degrades our infrastructure. We may suspend access for a monitor that violates this section, and we will tell you why.

04

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the endpoints you monitor, the ping tokens you issue, and the notifications you configure. Ping tokens are secrets: anyone holding one can report a heartbeat for your job. Rotate a token if it is exposed.

Keep your account and API credentials secure and tell us promptly if you believe they have been compromised.

05

Availability and support

We target a 99.99% uptime for the monitoring service itself, but no specific service level is committed during beta. Support is provided on a best-effort basis by email. We do not offer phone support, 24/7 on-call response, or a dedicated success engineer at this stage.

06

Intellectual property

The PingAnywhere name, logo, and product are our property. You may use the service, link to our public pages, and share screenshots of your own dashboards. You may not resell the service as a monitoring product of your own, rebrand the interface, or present it as your own.

07

Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your data at any time by emailing us. We can suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or puts the service at risk. On termination we delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it.

08

Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PingAnywhere is provided “as is” and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Our total liability arising out of or related to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $19. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost data, or business interruption. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

09

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. We will post the revised version here with a new date and notify existing users of material changes before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

10

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which our company is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Consumer protections in your country of residence still apply where local law gives you stronger rights.
